Harmony Tie-Dyes new website under construction

I am happy to answer any questions and walk you through my many designs in order to get exactly what you want. I am sorry for any inconvenience and we hope to get our new site up and running soon.

I am the eldest of six and spent the first 12 years of my life on a commune (The Farm). As a young man I traveled the world to broaden my horizons and as a husband and father I work hard to provide for my family. It helps that I love what I do and that I have a family that helps me. I love that I can be creative every day and that I am able to share a little bit of color with the world. With over 30 years experience, I feel that my craft is a part of me.

My wife and I purchased this business from my parents in 2004 and have been working hard to make our business as Earth friendly as possible. We have had to rebuild our production systems from the ground up in order to conserve the resources that we have and every year during our down time we work on a new project that will not only conserve, but also improve the efficiency of our work. I learned all of the labor-intensive techniques of this art through careful study of my parents and fifteen years of experience helping them as a child. I hand fold each piece intricately and bind it tightly with string which produces the characteristic designs of tie-dye. I then apply up to eight colors of professional colorfast dyes per item to create a vibrancy that cannot be mistaken. My washing procedures are Earth friendly, water conservative and are colorfast. This whole process is what makes a Harmony quality tie-dye, along with a few other secret tricks of the trade.

I create a vast variety of designs including: The Saguaro Cactus, Bat, Pumpkin, Alien, Volcano, Mushroom, Guitar, Landscape, Star Fish, Happy Face, Pac Man, Strawberry, Darth Vader, Lego Man, Mario Mushroom, Dog Print and more. Every year I come up with a new detailed design and tweak the colors of the classics to keep my customers surprised and to keep people excited about Tie-dye. I have also perfected my parents' original designs, such as the Mandala, heart, and the classic Spiral patterns. I work with variety of white textiles including: 100% cotton, organic cotton and rayon that I tie-dye. My product line includes: T-shirts, tank tops, polo's, dresses, socks, undies, and long sleeves for men and women sizes small to 5X. I also carry a complete line of baby and children clothing. T-shirts are $16-34.

I am working hard to keep the high standards of handmade crafts that the festivals require and my customers demand. I thank everyone for supporting our family and we look forward to seeing you at our shop or the upcoming festivals.
